About the Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be the primary technical resource supporting ARxIUM systems at customer sites throughout your assigned territory. You will install, troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize automated pharmacy systems while building strong relationships with healthcare customers.

This position requires a high degree of technical expertise, customer focus, and the ability to work independently.

Travel is a significant component of this role.

What You'll Do

  • Install, maintain, and repair ARxIUM hardware and software systems
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities
  • Respond to emergency service calls and system outages
  • Troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical, electrical, networking, and software issues
  • Support PLC programming validation and troubleshooting activities
  • Collaborate with customers to schedule maintenance and minimize operational disruptions
  • Document service activity through accurate reporting, ticket updates, and work summaries
  • Manage service tickets, escalations, and open issues through resolution
  • Partner with internal engineering, technical support, and project teams
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience during every interaction
  • Participate in after-hours support as needed

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, Computers, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline
  • 7+ years of field service, maintenance, or technical support experience supporting complex electro-mechanical systems
  • 7+ years of customer-facing technical service experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills involving electrical, mechanical, networking, and software systems
  • Experience working independently in a field-based environment
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Allen-Bradley PLC programming and troubleshooting experience
  • Conveyor, controls, and industrial automation experience
  • Experience supporting robotics or automated systems
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems and networking
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or highly regulated environments
